Defined by the material, liner and vehicle

CDU PG06 combines a round-pipe inlet with a rotary valve assembly, drive, control cabinet and mobile base for unloading granular materials from containers. Connections are configured to suit the liner outlet and downstream conveying system.

Features

  • Round inlet connects to a compatible liner discharge sleeve
  • Rotary valve assembly and drive feed the downstream line
  • Control cabinet integrated on the base for local operation
  • Wheeled base for positioning behind the container

Applications

  • Container unloading of free-flowing granules
  • Liner and downstream connections configured for the application

Configuration process

01

Define the material and duty

02

Match liner and receiving interfaces

03

Define downstream conveying

04

Configure controls and installation

Choosing a CDU model

Six configurations for different discharge requirements: start with flow behavior, then match the liner interface and installation arrangement.

ModelArrangementMaterial focusReceiving concept
PG01Container-mountedPowders and granules; poor-flow powdersWide inlet, opposing flights
PG02Container-mountedFree-flowing powders and granulesFrame-mounted receiving unit
PG03Container-mountedCaking, poorly flowing bulk solidsAccess panels, central discharge
PG04MobileFree-flowing powders and granulesWide fishtail inlet
PG05MobileFree-flowing bulk solidsThree liner connections
PG06MobileFree-flowing granulesRound inlet, rotary valve

This comparison supports initial selection. Final configuration depends on material trials, liner dimensions and conveying conditions.

Information for selection

These inputs help match the receiving interface, discharge assembly and downstream conveying system.

CategoryInformation to provide
MaterialName, powder or granule, particle size and bulk density
Flow behaviorAngle of repose, caking or bridging tendency, moisture
DutyTarget throughput, operating temperature, batches and duty
Container linerOutlet count, shape, dimensions, location and attachment
Container and siteContainer type, available tilt angle, space and equipment layout
Downstream conveyingConveying method, distance, lift, pipe size and receiving conditions
