Technical support

Design, R&D, manufacturing and after-sales teams – with environmental, mechanical, electrical and installation engineers – support every project.

Logistics

Strategic logistics partners, warehousing and cargo insurance, with a dedicated coordinator – safe, cost-effective and on-time delivery worldwide.

Integrity

Market-oriented, customer-first and trustworthy – we build long-term partnerships.

Conveying trials

An efficient bulk conveying system needs accurate planning and careful testing. We can arrange trials with your material at a dedicated conveying test facility, simulating dust generation, contamination, residue, particle size, temperature, inclination, branching, distance, velocity, routing, power and capacity – giving reliable design data for your system.

FAQ & troubleshooting

Tubular chain conveyors

What is a tubular chain conveyor?
A fully enclosed, dust-free mechanical conveyor. Discs on a chain move material through a pipe, changing direction in several planes (including 90°). A chain tensioner keeps optimum tension with zero tension on the return run, so wear is low. Sizes: 4", 6", 8", 10" and 12".
What materials can it handle?
Powders and granules, corrosive or abrasive products, food and fragile materials, premixes, wet bulk solids, sticky products, minerals and hot materials such as ash. Proven on TPA/IPA, fly ash and adipic acid powder; tested on PET flake, PVC and PVA.
What is the maximum capacity?
It depends on size, motor and configuration – a 12" system reaches about 80 t/h.
How long and how high can it run?
A single conveyor can be up to about 76 m (250 ft) long and 30 m (100 ft) high; longer routes combine several conveyors. Inlets and outlets are customised with no limit on their number.
Why are the discs made of UHMWPE?
UHMWPE is wear- and impact-resistant, light and low-friction, so less energy is needed, bends and pipes wear less and product does not stick. Steel, aluminium, cast iron or polyurethane discs are available for high temperatures and other special duties.
Noise during operation or the conveyor will not start?
Noise: check chain bolts (discs rubbing the pipe wall), wear on return rollers or slide rails, drive oil level and shaft seal, and whether the outlet is blocked.
Will not start: check power supply, interlock start conditions, motor overload (pipe obstruction or blockage), and whether the chain is broken or off the sprocket.

Rotary valves

Rotor and housing seizing
Check installation; foreign objects such as weld spatter or bolts; whether design particle size and temperature match the actual product; and the system downstream of the valve.
Vibration or low throughput
Check installation, motor wiring, conveying pressure stability, whether particle size matches the design, product lumping, and the upstream feed.
Shaft seal damage or no proximity-switch signal
Shaft seal: check purge-air pressure and dryness, and the pressure regulator or solenoid valve.
Proximity switch: check signal reception, target mounting and terminals; if the motor runs but the valve does not, check for a broken drive chain.
Gear motor overheating, noise or oil leaks
Check oil level and grade, bearings and gears, loose bolts, excessive load, a blocked breather or unremoved breather plug, failed oil seals, and heavy dust on the motor surface.

Diverter valves

Valve will not switch or does not reach position
Check for body distortion from external loads, switching under material flow, internal leakage, and supply air pressure within 4–6 kg/cm².
Works manually but not in automatic
Make sure the solenoid valve is set to 'auto' and check that the control signal arrives (wiring contacts); if both are fine, replace the solenoid valve.
Cylinder does not move or stops short
Check compressed air supply (4–6 kg/cm²G), kinked or blocked tubing, leaking fittings, closed speed controllers and debris in the flow path; then test solenoid valve, cylinder and valve body separately. Always vent the cylinder before adjusting.

Knife gate valves

External or internal leakage
External: check that the packing is installed correctly and not worn.
Internal: check installation and seat wear.
No limit-switch signal
First confirm the gate moves correctly, then check the switch actuation point (test by hand) and wiring; if there is still no signal, replace the switch.
Cylinder does not move or moves slowly
Check air pressure (4–6 kg/cm²), tubing and fittings, speed controllers, the solenoid valve manual/auto setting and debris in the flow path. If the cylinder still will not move on direct compressed air, the valve may be seized and should be returned for repair.

Pneumatic conveying systems

High line pressure
Check diverter valve installation, whether gas volume meets the design, blocked venting at the end of the line, a high level in the receiving silo, air dryness and pressure stability.
Large pressure fluctuations
Check for leaks, a faulty pressure transmitter and correct operation of the Air Control Unit (ACU).
ACU will not start or has no signals
Check supply voltage, fuses, controller battery and circuit breaker; with no I/O signals, check for wiring errors or short circuits and feedback from the pressure/flow transmitters.
